Qualifications / experience:

  • Relevant web design degree / diploma / certifications
  • 1-2 years experience in front-end web design experience
  • Industry standard web design portfolio. 

    Design:

    • Good knowledge of UX and UI
    • Good knowledge of wire framing
    • Good knowledge of Mac OSX
    • Great attention to detail
    • Ability to interpret briefs, conceptualize web and mobile solutions
    • Creativity and artistic flair
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to communicate effectively with strong presentation skills
    • Ability to work accurately under pressure
    • Must have own transport
    • Must be willing to put in extra hours when necessary
    • Ability to meet deadlines and execute last minute demands
    • Organizational ability, time management and time planning skills
    • Ability to be self-motivated and function independently
    • Problem solving ability
    • Integrity and a positive can-do attitude
    • Knowledge in print design principles and software including
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe InDesignTeam player so as to achieve collective goals, seek collaboration and build trust and confidence in others.

Moderate – Highly skilled in the following:

  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS
  • Proficient understanding of client side scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery.

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge in print design principles and software including
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
