Roles and Responsibilities Job Purpose:

Design, implement and maintain ICG Microstrategy reporting infrastructure (Projects/Schema/Reports) with strong data warehousing and SQL skills for ICG Analytics Technology with ISG organization.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Interaction with business and team lead to understand the business requirements

·         Produce high quality Technical & Release documents

·         Design & develop ETL processes, data flows and SSAS cubes.

·         Provide technical walk through’ to various stake holders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc)

1. Strong technical skills in designing datastage jobs (Parallel, Sequence). Should be able to provide solution to random scenarios and aware of the parallelism & partitioning techniques in datastage.

2. Strong skills in Oracle or relevant RDBMS, should have sound knowledge in writing SQL queries with Joins, sub queries, aggregate & analytical functions. Knowledge on PL/SQL is an added advantage.

3. Strong skills in Unix commands. Additional knowledge in shell scripting would be beneficial.

4. Knowledge on Autosys (scheduling tool) would be an added advantage.

5. Ability to understand the requirements from Functional / Technical Spec.

6. Ability to work in SDLC & Agile methodologies.

7. Sound knowledge on unit testing, system testing.

Test Engineer for a UK based IT Co., Pune

Role: Test Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 3 years

Educational qualification: BCS/MCS/BE/BSc/MSc

Job Responsibility:

  • Required – Individual contributor with good understanding of Software Testing Concepts, Software Testing Life Cycle and Processes.
  • Required – Hands-on experience working on Selenium, FitNesse, Protractor or other Java based automation tool.
  • Previous Java development work experience is also preferred.
  • Should have good Experience in writing test cases.
  • Good communication skill required.
  • Candidate must have 3+ years of overall testing experience (Manual + Automation).
