Responsibilities:

# Participate and drive the architecture and design of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services using object-oriented design, distributed programming and Java.

# Liaise with product team to gather functional requirements and prepare technical specifications, design specifications and deployment plans.

# Serve as technical lead throughout the software development lifecycle and participate in analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products.

#Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance and scalability.

• Manage resources on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals.

# Troubleshoot production support issues and system failures post-deployment and come up with solutions as required

 

# Manages, leads, and holds the team accountable for achieving goals and ensures everyone is rowing together in the same direction

# Effectively collaborates with the team and stays on the same page. Realizes the unique contributions and ideas the team provides and have the ability to translate those ideas into functional plans

# Keen sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize problems, analyze, and resolve issues

# In addition to guiding and managing entire team functions, the right person will be able to roll up their sleeves when necessary and leads by example

# Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met .

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

 

#2+ years of technical leadership experience in all aspects of software development lifecycle.

#Strong experience in designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems or services using Object Oriented Design, distributed programming and Java

# Experience in working on Spring Framework (Spring-MVC and Spring DI)

# Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

# Strong knowledge of web-services

# Data Structures and Algorithms

# Outstanding analytical & problem solving skills
