🎯 Key Responsibilities:
• Perform end-to-end physical design implementation (RTL to GDSII)
• Floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), and routing
• Work on timing closure, signal integrity, and power optimization
• Handle design rule checks (DRC), layout vs schematic (LVS), and signoff flows
• Optimize PPA (Power, Performance, Area) for advanced node designs
• Work closely with front-end, STA, and DFT teams for design convergence
• Debug and resolve physical design and timing issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful tape-out
✨ Requirements:
• 5–10 years of experience in Physical Design
• Strong hands-on experience with Cadence Innovus is mandatory
• Experience working on advanced technology nodes (3nm / 5nm)
• Strong understanding of physical design flow (floorplan to signoff)
• Expertise in STA concepts, timing closure, and SI analysis
• Experience with low power design techniques (UPF/CPF) is a plus
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Tcl / Python / Shell
• Knowledge of EDA tools like PrimeTime, Tempus, ICC2 is an added advantage
