JOB DESCRIPTION :

PROFILE : Corporate lawyer

EXPERIENCE : 3 to 7 years

LOCATION : pune

Objectives of this Role:
 This position reports directly to the COO and will be responsible in managing all
corporate aspects pertaining to legal and corporate law matters for the Group operations
within India and outside.
 You will play the pivotal role of a Business Partner to all Heads of Departments, advising
and counseling on all legal matters so as to derive accurate & just interpretation of
contract documents.
 You will take the leadership role in implementing the Legal and Corporate Governance
Strategy and aligning the department goals to that of the overall Group Strategy in view
of the Company’s policies and legal framework to safeguard and manage company’s legal
and business risks.
 You may be required to assist in managing Shareholders meetings, Board meetings, and
participate in Tender Committee meetings representing the company on the Legal and
Corporate Governance front.
 You will be required to vet, draft, review and advise on all contractual documents with
Customers, Suppliers, Employees and all Agreements and provide timely professional
advice within the legal framework under which the Group operates in.
 Able to conduct legal research to keep abreast of all relevant changes of laws and advice
Management on the required changes and impact to business operations.
 Manage all other ad-hoc requests & undertake special projects as required

Skills Required:
 Candidates must possess at least an LLB (Hon’s) or equivalent and highly desirable if
previously a practicing Lawyer in the relevant field.
 Minimum 3 years of post-qualified working experience in Corporate Law, Contracts
Management with a good exposure in handling corporate legal issues, contract
negotiation and business agreements and arrangements.
 Salient knowledge of Indian Corporate Law and excellent drafting skills with the ability
to provide sound legal advisory opinions.

 Possess strong interpersonal skills and an eye for detail to provide sound legal judgment.
 Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimum supervision and have strong
commitment to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.
 You must have a strong desire to grow into a more progressive position within the
organization
 Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
