Job brief:
We are looking for a passionate PHP developer responsible for developing web applications, including anything from back-end services to their client end counterparts. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic developer eager to learn and grow his/her skills. You commitment to develop high performance and responsive applications is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP code
- Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores etc)
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Skills/Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in developing web applications using PHP
- Knowledge of Object Oriented PHP programming
- Experience working with and creating REST API
- Strong knowledge with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Zend etc
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns behind a scalable application
- Knowledge and experience of HTML, jQuery and other JavaScript Frameworks
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors / Master’s degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
